Highly technical work teams manage this three shift, automated permanent mold operation. Engineered to melt and process particularly pure alloys, this foundry is producing high integrity castings with superior mechanical properties.
Robotic Parts Handling To increase production efficiency, Reliable utilizes tilt pour work cells, automated rotary tables, automatic ladlers, saws, robots, special material handling equipment, and custom designed automatic mold for high volume applications.
ACO turntable Operations Occupying 70,000 square feet, our Sidney Automated Castings Operations (ACO) specializes in higher volume applications and has the capability to perform finish machining and other secondary operations. Assemblies are stocked for JIT distribution. Materials cast include A356 & 319 aluminum. Our automated green sand mold dimensional capacity is 24"x 56". Customers include the diesel engine and heavy truck as well as the passenger car option markets.
On site heat treatment capabilities allow Reliable to have additional quality control and production control as products make their way through manufacturing, finish, and delivery.
